Principles of Chiropractic 19-23
The last few principles began the Biologic Principles and introduced us to the concept of Innate Intelligence. As mentioned then, Universal Intelligence is in all matter, both organic and inorganic, but Innate Intelligence is unique only to organic matter. The following principles of chiropractic, 19- 23, will further explain some of the functions and limitations of Innate.
19. Evidence of Life. The signs of life (assimilation, elimination, growth, reproduction, adaptability) are evidence of the innate intelligence of life. (18)
20. The Mission of Innate Intelligence. The mission of the body’s innate intelligence is to maintain the material of the body of a living thing in active organization. (21)
21. The Perfection of the Triune. In order to have 100% life, there must be 100% intelligence, 100% force, and 100% matter. (5)
22. The Amount of Innate Intelligence. There is 100% of innate intelligence in every living thing, the requisite amount, proportional to its organization. (22)

The Function of Innate Intelligence. The function of the body’s innate intelligence is to adapt universal forces and matter for use in the body, so that all parts of the body will have coordinated action for mutual benefit. (23)
As always, building upon the previous principles, the Evidence of Life and Mission of Innate Intelligence point out some of the signs of life that differentiates organic from inorganic matter. One will note that all of these signs of life are all also done without necessarily being acted upon first. That is to say, Innate differs from Universal Intelligence in that Universal Intelligence determines how any physical object will behave when acted upon by the outside. Innate Intelligence, in turn, determines how a living object will behave on the inside in order to affect the outside.
Regarding the 21st principle it's interesting that in Koch's ordering we're meant to recall back to earlier Universal Principles dealing with 100% force and 100% intelligence while originally the Perfection of the Triune came before them. Also of note is that it's a “Perfection” of the triune as in an ideal that isn't necessarily always in play. This is interesting because it points out that in order to have 100% life there must be 100% force and 100% intelligence. We learn in the following principle that there is always 100% Innate in matter and from before that there is always 100% Universal Intelligence in matter. There is also always 100% force delivered by intelligence, also mentioned earlier. When there is this perfection, Innate is able to adapt to universal forces and matter to result in coordinated action in the body, as stated by principle 23. Because of this, everybody should be in an ideal state already with all of those “100%” floating around, but this is clearly not the case. The reason is because there is another player in the system that isn't necessarily always at 100%. But we'll get on to that later.
